FRISCO, Texas - Stephen F. Austin senior Jordan Glynn has been named to the Southland Conference Men's Basketball All-Academic team, according to an announcement Tuesday by league officials. Glynn is a first-team honoree on the 10-man list.
The Waco, Texas, native led the Lumberjacks in rebounding this season with 8.0 boards per game. His 11.5 points per night ranked second on the team. Glynn earned Second-Team All-Southland honors for his efforts on the court. The criminal justice major had a 3.14 cumulative GPA going into the spring semester.
Glynn is SFA's first academic all-conference honoree in men's basketball since Scott Weaver earned second-team recognition following the 2007-08 season.
Glynn started all 61 games in his two-year career at SFA. His career average of 8.2 rebounds per game ranks second in school history at the Division I level. He finished with 500 rebounds total, ranking fifth overall and second among two-year players in SFA's Division I era.
