NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack juniors and seniors will participate in a Pro Day at Homer Bryce Stadium Thursday morning. The Lumberjacks have several players who are receiving significant attention from scouts. The names headlining the list are 2010 All-Americans Jabara Williams, Kenneth Charles, Jeremy Moses and two-time all-conference selection Andre Banks among others. The SFA juniors will take to the field beginning at 7 a.m., followed by the seniors at 10 a.m.
The Lumberjacks have had several players sign NFL contracts over the course of the past couple seasons. All-American receiver Dominique Edison was a sixth-round selection by the Tennessee Titans following the 2008 campaign, while defensive end Tim Knicky (Green Bay Packers), Contrevious Parks (Detroit Lions) and Aaron Rhea (Minnesota Vikings) each signed contracts last season.
The Lumberjacks opened spring camp Wednesday morning with the first of 15 scheduled workouts. SFA returns to the practice field Friday at 7 a.m.
