NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Ryan Epperson has been named Linebacker Performer of the Week announced College Football Performance Awards officials Monday morning. It is the first time in his career that Epperson has received a national honor, but it is the second consecutive week a Lumberjack defender has been recognized.
Epperson helped guide Stephen F. Austin to its third consecutive win posting a 69-10 victory over Lamar Saturday in Beaumont. SFA will look to make it four in a row, and get back to .500 on the season, when they host Southeastern Louisiana Saturday at 6 p.m. in Homer Bryce Stadium. The SFA seniors will be recognized prior to the game.
