
Roadrunners Sweep Ladyjacks

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Despite 10 kills from MC Bottles, the Ladyjacks ran into a UTSA buzzsaw on Saturday at the Convocation Center, falling to the league-leading Roadrunners, 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-11) to close out a two-game road swing.
UTSA (10-8, 4-0 SLC) hit .295 for the match and outblocked the Ladyjacks (9-10, 2-3 SLC) 15-5 on its way to its fourth consecutive league win, all of which have been via sweep. Aside from Bottles' afternoon, no other Ladyjack was able to produce more than Jill Ivy's six kills as SFA finished with just a .032 attack percentage for the afternoon.
Madison Hanlan picked up 17 digs and Katzy Randall had a dozen, while Paige Holland finished with eight digs and 21 assists.
SFA saw its attack percentage go down each set, while the Roadrunners hit .389 in both the first and third frames, committing just three of their 10 attack errors for the match in those sets.
The Ladyjacks have two matches on the docket for the upcoming week, wrapping up its season series with Sam Houston State on Wednesday in Huntsville before hosting Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday in Hammond, La.
