Tickets Available for McNeese State Game

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Tickets for the Lumberjacks' Southland Conference opening contest at McNeese State went on sale Monday through the SFA Ticket Office. The sixth-ranked Lumberjacks will open conference play Saturday, Oct. 9, when they travel to Lake Charles, La., to face McNeese State. General admission seating is $17, while reserved seats are $24.
The 'Jacks jumped a spot in the FCS Coaches' Top 25 poll after the team's impressive 71-3 victory over Lamar. SFA is now 3-1 (.750) on the season and ranked sixth in both major polls.
The Lumberjack defense has taken its game to a new level over the course of the past two games. SFA held Lamar to only three points Saturday, and have surrendered only three points in the last six quarters.
The Cowboys (1-2) have dropped consecutive games after a season-opening win over Lamar. Since that time the Cowboys have dropped tough decisions at Missouri and against No. 20 Cal Poly.
The conference opener is slated for Saturday, Oct. 9 in Lake Charles, La. The game will kick off at 7 p.m. from Cowboy Stadium.
