NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin Coordinator of Athletic Operations Jeremy Stolfa received the SFA President's Award for his hard work and dedication to the university. Stolfa, in his sixth year of service with the university, received the honor at a banquet Tuesday afternoon.
"Jeremy has one of the most demanding support roles in our department," said SFA Director of Athletics Robert Hill. "Being in charge of game day operations for all of our athletic teams is a huge responsibility but he handles it all with ease. What a great honor for him to be recognized for his hard work and dedication to SFA and the athletics department."
Stolfa joined the athletics department after a four-year career as a member of the Lumberjack football team. He was a key member of the 'Jacks' 1999 team that went 8-3 and won the Southland Conference title. Stolfa is a dual graduate of the university receiving his bachelor's in 2003, and returning for his master's degree in May 2006.
