SFA Track and Field Concludes Second Day at Texas Relays

AUSTIN, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin men's and women's track and field team had three athletes in action Thursday in the second day of action at the 83rd Annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin, Texas.
Senior Frednisha Marshall was the lone SFA field athlete to compete Thursday. Marshall finished 15th overall in her lone event of the day recording a throw 170-11 in the hammer throw.
The Ladyjacks sent two athletes to the track in the women's 400-meter hurdles. Sophomore Lauren Watts clocked the team's top time with a 1:02.68 to finish 15th overall. Freshman Christian Donald finished 1.16 seconds back of Watts to place 23rd overall.
Athletes will return to the track Friday for the women's 4X100-meter relay. The race is slated to begin at 9:30 a.m. Field events will get under way at 10 a.m. with the section `B' finals of the women's javelin.
