Harlan Finishes Second at ASU Spring Break Multis Meet

SAN ANGELO, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin men's and women's track and field team sent several athletes to San Angelo, Texas for the ASU Spring Break Multis Invitational and placed six athletes in the top 10 between the two events.
Senior Aaron Harlan finished second in the decathlon posting a score of 6,983 points. Harlan missed the individual title by six points. Sophomore Andrew Plentl scored 6,534 points to finish fifth overall. Senior Chris Jones finished only three points behind Plentl for sixth place overall.
Senior Tabitha Riley was fifth overall in the heptathlon. Riley recorded a score of 4,737 points to earn a top-five spot. Junior Ebbonye Johnson scored 4,554 points to finish seventh overall. Junior Alicia Jackson was the third Ladyjack in the top 10. She scored 4,245 points to finish 10th overall.
The SFA track and field team will be in Waco, Texas, Saturday to compete in the Dr. Pepper Baylor Invitational.
