NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack football team is inviting all area children to attend their upcoming football game, November 13th, against Southeastern Louisiana. Children have the opportunity to experience a college football game as SFA hosts NCAA Football's 10th annual "Take A Kid to the Game" (TAKG) program presented by Coca-Cola.
Kids, ages 14 and younger, will receive a free ticket to watch the Lumberjacks take on Southeastern Louisiana at Homer Bryce Stadium. Along with the free admission for children, SFA will be providing free popcorn and $1 hotdogs for participating children. In conjunction with the great food discounts the SFA Cheerleaders will be on hand prior to kick-off, to paint faces.
Stephen F. Austin is one of more than 200 schools across the nation taking part in this campaign focused on allowing youth the opportunity to attend college football games. The Take A Kid to the Game® program is entering into its 15th year in the promotion of collegiate athletics.
"We look forward to having kids from the community be apart of our game day experience and support NCAA Football's Take A Kid to the Game program," said Robert Hill, SFA Director of Athletics.
