CHICAGO - Stephen F. Austin senior quarterback Jeremy Moses gave Lumberjack fans one more highlight on senior day this past Saturday, and for his efforts has been named a College Sporting News All-Star announced CSN Executive Director Dave Coulson Monday afternoon.
Moses completed 35 passes for 489 yards and three touchdowns to guide SFA to a 36-13 victory over Northwestern State. The win locked up a second-straight Southland Conference title for the Lumberjacks. Moses finished the day only 18 yards shy of a career high which he set his rookie season against Texas State.
The 'Jacks received the league's automatic bid to the NCAA FCS Playoffs, and will open postseason play against Villanova (7-4) Saturday, Dec. 4. The game against the Wildcats is slated to begin at 2:30 p.m. from Homer Bryce Stadium.
