Weather Cancels Final Round of Cowgirl Invitational

LAKE CHARLES, La. - The second, and final round of the 2010 Cowgirl Invitational was canceled Tuesday morning due to the weather. The Ladyjacks finish the tournament seventh overall after shooting a 33-over par, 321 on the par-72, 6255-yard course Monday morning.
Inclement weather prevented the eight-team field from completing all 36 holes Monday. After Monday's delayed action, the original plan was to shorten the tournament to 36 holes. The teams were scheduled to tee off Tuesday morning at 9 a.m., but the weather never improved.
The Cowgirl Classic was the team's final tournament until February when they travel to Victoria, Texas for the Claud Jacobs Invitational.
