SFA Holds Thursday Luncheon in Lufkin

Stephen F. Austin head coach J.C. Harper will return to Ralph & Kacoo's Thursday in Lufkin, Texas, for his Third Thursday Luncheon. Fans will receive a recap of Saturday's win over Southeastern Louisiana, and a look ahead to the showdown against Northwestern State, while enjoying a dutch treat lunch.
The Lumberjacks enter Saturday's annual `Battle for Chief Caddo' looking to win at least a share of their second consecutive Southland Conference title. SFA is 8-2 (.800) on the season, and 5-1 (.833) in conference play heading into the regular-season finale against the Demons (5-5/4-2 SLC). Northwestern State is currently third in the conference, and still has an outside shot at the conference title.
SFA will be looking to make history Saturday when it faces Northwestern State. If SFA can record a victory over the Demons, it would be the first time in program history that SFA has won at least a share of the conference title in back-to-back seasons.
