
SFA Hoops To Be Televised Twice In 2010-11

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Southland Conference announced Thursday the 2010-11 basketball broadcast schedule for SLC TV. Stephen F. Austin will make two appearances with both televised SFA games coming at home.
The Lumberjacks are scheduled to be televised on Jan. 29 when they host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The game against the Islanders is set for a 2 p.m. start.
The Ladyjacks' game against Texas State on Feb. 19 will also be broadcast. That game starts at 2 p.m. and is part of a home doubleheader with the men following at 4:30.
In all, Southland TV will broadcast 12 regular-season games this year. The network will also televise all four semifinal matchups and the women's championship game at the Southland Conference Tournament in Katy, Texas. All Southland TV games are also streamed live for free via SLC NOW, the Southland Conference's online video platform.
Now in its third year of existence, Southland TV has affiliate commitments from 14 stations and reaches roughly 6 million households throughout Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas.
