Tickets Available for 2009 Season Opener

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Tickets for the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks' season opener at SMU are on sale through the SFA Ticket Office. The 'Jacks open the season Saturday, Sept. 5, with a 7 p.m. game against the Mustangs. Fans can order tickets by calling (936) 468-JACK. There will be no tickets made available through the SFA Department of Athletics.
The Lumberjacks enter the 2009 campaign returning a majority of their players from last season including preseason All-Americans Tim Knicky and Jabara Williams. Record-setting quarterback Jeremy Moses also returns for his junior campaign.
SFA will hold its home opener Saturday, Sept. 12, when it hosts Texas College. The game against the Steers is slated to begin at 6 p.m. from Homer Bryce Stadium.
