
Southland Conference Releases TV Schedule

FRISCO, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack football team will have two of its games aired on the Southland Conference Television Network announced league officials Wednesday afternoon. The SLC-TV Network, which is in its second year, will showcase the Lumberacjacks in consecutive weeks beginning Saturday, Oct. 10 against McNeese State. SFA's game at Central Arkansas the following will also be aired.
"We're very excited about the second season of Southland Network programming," Burnett said. "The league had more total television productions in 2008-09 than ever before, and the Network will feature even more live football this year."
The Network, which was an unknown quantity a year ago, televised 36 events last season, which included nine football games, and 16 basketball games as well as the conference tournament finals for baseball and volleyball.
Jeff Watts Productions (JWP) of Fort Worth, Texas, will once again serve as the Network's production company. JWP began operations in 1986, and during the last two decades has created more than 1,000 original programs, including sports, travel, outdoors and corporate marketing programs.
