NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Happy Wednesday morning to you. I'm Stephen F. Austin assistant director of media relations Brian Ross, and I want to invite you to join me on a journey to one of the most historic weekends in the history of SFA Athletics.
We here in the SFA athletics department couldn't be more excited about our Lumberjacks' trip to the 2009 NCAA Championships, and we want to bring you along for the ride with us. Those who can't make Friday's game in Miami can tag along online, as I attempt to give you a behind-the-scenes glimpse into what goes on at the Big Dance.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with me, which I'm assuming will be just about all the readers, I included a photo of myself with this entry. I'm the guy sitting at the media row table, just off frame, to the right of Eric Bell.
I've got a binder full of scheduled meetings and interviews for the next few days, so I'll update you on the goings-on as time and wireless internet access allow. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions or positive messages for our team, and I'll do my best to pass them along.

We're rolling out on the team bus at 10 a.m. to catch a chartered flight out of Houston for sunny Miami. Wish us luck, and Axe 'em 'Jacks!
