Lumberjack Football Participates in Wounded Warrior Project

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack football team is participating in the Wounded Warrior Project during Saturday's game against Sam Houston State. Sgt. Jason Worsdale will be at midfield for the coin toss, and will also participate in the Homecoming parade. Sgt. Worsdale was injured fighting in Iraq in August.
The Wounded Warrior Project is sponsored by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics. The project honors our nation's military men and women who have been injured in battle.
