2008 SFA Signee Highlight Video
Although National Signing Day was less than a week ago, SFA fans do not have to wait until fall camp to get a look at the next crop of Lumberjack athletes. Fans can now go to SFA All Access and watch a highlight video of the 2008 SFA signing class.
SFA signed 26 high school standouts and three transfers last Wednesday. The class consisted of balance across the board with 14 players on the offensive side, 13 defensive players, one kicker/punter specialist and an athlete.
The SFA coaching staff added talent at the skill positions, while still adding size and depth to its line. The offensive signees include three quarterbacks, two running backs, three wide receivers and six offensive linemen. There is also balance on the defensive side of the ball with five defensive backs, four linebackers and four defensive linemen. The 2008 class also consisted of 15 players from the East Texas area.
