NACOGDOCHES, Texas - For the fourth consecutive season Stephen F. Austin athletics will be hosting "Take a Kid to the Game" (TAKG), when it faces Kentucky Wesleyan Saturday, Oct. 11, at Homer Bryce Stadium.
Children ages 14 and younger will receive free admission to the game, free popcorn and $1 hot dogs. The SFA spirit squad will also be on hand to paint faces.
"We look forward to having kids from the community be apart of our gameday experience and support NCAA Football's TAKG® program," said SFA Director of Athletics Robert Hill. "This event is a great opportunity for children to spend quality time with a parent or role model while learning about the fundamentals of college football in a family-oriented atmosphere that is NCAA Football."
The game against the Kentucky Wesleyan is slated to begin at 6 p.m. It will be the third game, in a season-long, three-game homestand for the Lumberjacks.
