
Ladyjacks Get Back On Winning Track Against Wake Forest

HOUSTON, Texas - After a tough late-night loss on Friday, the Ladyjacks volleyball team rebounded for a convincing 3-0 (30-28, 30-21, 30-14) win over Wake Forest in the afternoon session of the Houston Tournament on Saturday.
The win fives the Ladyjacks (7-4, 0-0) their first ever win over Wake Forest (3-5) and sets them up to leave Houston taking two out of three matches.
JJ Jones flirted with another triple-double in only three games and finished with 22 assists, 12 digs and eight kills on a .615 hitting percentage. Sophomore Briana Taylor led the team in blocks for the third consecutive match with six along with eight kills of her own.
SFA placed seven players in the kill column, paced by Shelly Swendig's 10.
The Demon Deacons were led by Natalie Mulkin's 10 kills.
