Ladies' Night With SFA Football

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack football team will offer its fans from the fairer sex a chance to learn the basics of the gridiron game when it hosts Ladies' Night with SFA Football. The event, sponsored by State Farm, will be held on Thursday, August 23, at the SFA Athletics field house in the north end of Homer Bryce Stadium, with the program set to begin at 6:30 p.m.
The evening's program will be broken into several educational sessions, including rules, equipment, offense, defense, a forum with the SFA coaches' wives and a tour of the facilities administered by Lumberjack players.
Speakers will include SFA head coach J.C. Harper, offensive coordinator Gerald Broussard, defensive coordinator Darren Drago, SFA facilities and equipment coordinator Greg Payne and Cooper Castleberry, an official with the Big 12 Conference.
Tickets for the event are $20 and can be purchased in advance or at the door. Those who buy in advance will have the option of reserving a T-shirt in their size. For more information, contact Joyce Campbell in the SFA football office at (936) 468-3502.
