
Sandy Miller a Finalist for NATA President

NACOGDOCHES - Hall of fame trainer Sandy Miller is one of two finalists for the position of National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) President. Miller is entering his 27th season as the Stephen F. Austin head athletic trainer.
Miller is a member of a board of directors of the National Athletic Trainer's Association. He served on the athletic training staff at the 1990 Goodwill Games and the U.S. Olympic Training Center, as well as serving as the athletic trainer for USA Track & Field at the World Championships in Sweden in 1995. He also represented Texas and Arkansas as district director for NATA. In 1999, Miller was honored as a NATA Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer, one of 12 in the country.
Voting will take place online and by mail from Sept. 4th through Oct. 4th. The president-elect will take office in June 2008.
