Baseball Adds Sooners to Schedule

NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin baseball will face the Oklahoma Sooners Monday at 6:30 p.m. in Norman, Okla., announced head coach Donnie Watson Wednesday morning. The Lumberjacks' opening day contest at Texas Tech was cancelled due to inclement weather in Lubbock, allowing SFA to add a game to its now 56-game schedule.
OU will be the fourth Big 12 team the Lumberjacks encounter this season. SFA will be coming off a key three-game Southland Conference series at Texas-Arlington before heading north to take on the Sooners.
The Lumberjacks will then return to Nacogdoches to wrap up the 2007 regular season slate against the Sam Houston State Bearkats Thursday, May 17 - Saturday, May 19 at Jaycees Field.
