SFA Shows Support for Virginia Tech

NACOGDOCHES - In response to the tragic events that took place on the Virginia Tech campus Monday morning, Stephen F. Austin would like to show its support by calling for all students, faculty and staff to show up at Homer Bryce Stadium Thursday at 4 p.m., wearing purple. Those in attendance will form a huge VT, alongside the SFA logo, at midfield in remembrance of the victims. Public Affairs photographer Hardy Meredith will take a photo that will be sent to Virginia Tech.
Along with the photo, SFA will be accepting donations that will be gathered to be sent to Virginia Tech. The funds raised will go to the Virginia Tech general scholarship fund.
