NACOGDOCHES - Roxana Enica won her third straight No. 1 singles match with a 6-2, 6-2 defeat of Texas State's Ashley Ellis Saturday to score Stephen F. Austin's lone point in a 6-1 loss Saturday. The Ladyjacks overall record sits at 3-5 and move to 0-1 in Southland Conference play.
Enica and doubles partner, Laura Harrison, also took an 8-6 doubles win over Lainy Chafitz and Rabea Hartmann. The duo's overall record now stands at 6-3 in No. 1 doubles.
SFA will face Texas-Arlington Sunday at 10 a.m. from the SFA Tennis Complex.
