
Enica Takes Fourth Straight No. 1 Win in SFA Loss

NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks tennis team lost its second straight Southland Conference match Sunday afternoon against Texas-Arlington. UTA took a 6-1 win despite Roxana Enica winning her fourth straight match at No. 1 Singles.
Enica started off with a 7-5 loss in the first set against UTA's Monika Peciulionyte, but fought back to take a 7-6 win in the second set. She won the tiebreaker 10-6 to take the sole point for SFA.
SFA falls to 0-2 in conference play and 3-6 overall. The Mavs are now 5-2 overall and 3-1 in SLC action.
The Ladyjacks will return to the court Wednesday and Thursday at Texas-Pan American in Edinburg, Texas.
