Associate AD Matt Fenley Celebrates 50th Birthday

NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin athletics department celebrated the 50th birthday of Associate Athletics Director Matt Fenley Friday morning in the Champions Room of the athletics field house. Fenley was treated to a birthday breakfast in his honor.
"It has been a privilege to work with Fenley as long as I have," said SFA Director of Athletics Robert Hill. "The real celebration here today is the fact that Fenley still has the ability to get around on his own at his age."
After blowing out the candles on his birthday doughnut, Fenley opened his gifts and visited with those in attendance.
"I was just happy to still have the lung capacity to blow out the candles," said Fenley. "I was stunned, however, to realize that I was actually as old as Greg Payne."
