NACOGDOCHES - Pink is not one of the Stephen F. Austin school colors, but over the course of the next month SFA players and fans will be wearing the color in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. SFA Athletics, in conjunction with Zeta Tau Alpha, are requesting that fans wear pink and come support the Lumberjacks, and breast cancer awareness, Saturday, Sept. 30 against North Dakota State.
Pink ZTA and SFA shirts will be handed out at the game, along with ribbons and shower cards. Yoplait lids will also be collected at the gates, to help raise money for breast cancer awareness. Local breast cancer survivors will also be in attendance at the game.
The game against North Dakota State is slated to kickoff at 6 p.m. from Homer Bryce Stadium.
