
Edison Receives SLC Honor

FRISCO, Texas - Sophomore wide receiver Dominique Edison was named Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week announced league officials Monday afternoon. It marks the second consecutive week a Lumberjack has won the award.
Edison had a career night against Central Arkansas, hauling in four passes for a career-high 171 yards and two touchdowns. One of Edison's touchdown receptions was a career-long 80-yard strike from quarterback Danny Southall. He averaged 42.8 yards per catch against the Bears.
Edison currently leads the SLC averaging 65.8 yards per game, and is eighth in the league averaging 3.00 receptions per game. It is the first time in Edison's young career that he has received the honor.
The Lumberjacks return to action Saturday to host North Dakota State. The game against the Bison is slated to begin at 6 p.m. from Homer Bryce Stadium.
