NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack football team added Nebraska transfer Brock Pasteur to its roster Monday afternoon announced SFA head football coach Robert McFarland. Pasteur is a 6-6, 290-pound offensive lineman, who will have two years of eligibility remaining with the Lumberjacks.
Pasteur is a powerful lineman who the Lumberjack coaching staff expects will come in an immediately push for a starting role. Originally signed by coach McFarland at Central Florida, Pasteur went the junior college route after McFarland left the Golden Knights to take a position at East Carolina.
Pasteur spent two seasons at Mesabi Range (Minn.) Community College where he earned first-team JC Gridiron All-America honors and honorable mention NJCAA All-America recognition. He was also listed at the second-ranked junior college player in the country.
Pasteur becomes the third NCAA Division I-A transfer added to the Lumberjacks roster, joining Corey Campbell (Tennessee) and Daimyeon Hoskin (Central Michigan).
