NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack football team will be at Wal-Mart Saturday afternoon for the second annual 'Jacks with Sacks. The event is scheduled to last from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Lumberjack athletes will be on hand to assist patrons with their purchases, provide refreshments and hand out schedule cards for the upcoming 2006 season. The Lumberjacks' four team captains, Andrew Fleck, Keldrick Holman, Michael Motte and Danny Southall, will also be on hand to sign autographs.
KICKS 105 FM will also be on hand to do a live broadcast from Wal-Mart. KICKS is the official flagship station of the Lumberjack Radio Network.
The Lumberjacks kick off the 2006 season Thursday, Aug. 31, in Tulsa, Okla., against the Golden Hurricane. The game against Tulsa is slated to begin at 6 p.m. from Skelly Stadium.
