SFA Freshman Plays in LHSAA All-Star Game

NACOGDOCHES - Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack freshman Jeremy Fontenette was a member of the West All-Stars in the 69th Louisiana High School Coaches Association/Coca-Cola All-Star Football Game, which was played at LSU's Tiger Stadium last month. The East All-Stars won the game, 14-0.

Fontenette, a 5-10, 185-pound freshman from St. Martinsville, finished the game with 3.5 tackles. Fontenette showed his versatility playing middle linebacker, strong safety and cornerback during the contest. Fontenette was one of seven defensive backs signed by the Lumberjack coaching staff in February.
