NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin assistant coach Tara Schuling gives Ladyjack soccer fans and future players a glimpse into her life with this new feature: "A to Z with Tara Schuling."
A is for ... "Amazing Race." I am definitely going to send my application in for next season.
B is for ... Boarding, one of my favorite things to do.
C is for ... Competitive! I am super competitive in everything.
D is for ... Dashboard Confessional, one of my favorite bands.
E is for ... Erin and Eric, my brother and one of my sisters.
F is for ... Fighting Illini! My alma mater and some of my best memories.
G is for ... "Grey's Anatomy." One of my favorite shows!
H is for ... Harper, my dog's name.
I is for ... Iowa, where my dad and his side of the family live.
J is for ... Jon and Jeff, two of my best friends.
K is for ... Key West, my favorite place to go while I was living in Miami, FL.
L is for ... Ladyjack games, GO WHITE!!!
M is for ... Music, I always have something playing. My ipod is just as important to me as my cell phone.
N is for ... New York, where I grew up, where my mom and her side of the family still live, and one of my favorite cities.
O is for ... Ocean, I love being at the beach and hearing and surfing in the ocean.
P is for ... Pizza, my favorite food. (It has to be from New York, though - yes, there is a difference.)
Q is for ... Quiet time. Sounds childish, but I definitely like some time to myself.
R is for ... Running. I love working out, whether it's by myself or jumping in with the players.
S is for ... Surfing, one of my favorite things to do.
T is for ... "Two weeks in Hawaii" by Hellogoodbye - great song!!
U is for ... Urban Outfitters, one of my favorite places to shop.
V is for ... Vail, a great place to go on vacation.
W is for ... Winning!!!
X is for ... "XO" by Fall Out Boy - great song.
Y is for ... Yankees, my favorite professional sports team.
Z is for ... "zzzzz." I love taking naps.
