
Two Ladyjacks Named Academic All-SLC

PLANO, Texas - Seniors Kirby Killingsworth and Britany Vinson were named to the 2005-06 Hibernia Bank Academic All-Southland Conference Women's Basketball team announced league officials Thursday afternoon. Vinson was a first-team selection, while Killingsworth earned second-team honors.
Killingsworth helped guide SFA back to the SLC title this past season by averaging 8.5 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. She finished the season as the school's second all-time leader in three-point field goals (168) and earned third-team all-conference honors.
A two-time all-conference honoree, Vinson finished the 2005-06 season as the team's second-leading scorer averaging 10.8 points. Vinson was also a 2006 third-team All-SLC pick, and finished just behind Killingsworth on the school's all-time three-point field-goal list (152). Vinson will graduate SFA as the school's all-time free throw percentage leader.
