NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack volleyball team was recognized by the NCAA for being among the top 10 percent in its sport in the NCAA's Academic Performance Rate (APR).
The APR, which was implemented two years ago, is a tool that is used by the NCAA to score institutions on their retention and eligibility of student-athletes to project graduation rates.
SFA volleyball scored a perfect 1,000 points, which means the team retained and kept eligible every student-athlete on scholarship.
The Ladyjacks were one of approximately 48 Division I volleyball teams and one of three Southland Conference teams to be recognized.
