
SFA Tennis Dominates Texas-Pan American

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team moved their overall record to 3-3 on Friday after dominating Texas-Pan American to take a 6-1 win in Corpus Christi at the King's Crossing Country Club.
In doubles matches, SFA's No. 1 doubles duo fell to the Lady Broncs, but the Ladyjacks took the doubles point after Laura Harrison and Lauren Nowicki won their No. 2 doubles match, 8-1, and Gaby Gadeva and Mary Harrison won their No. 3 doubles match, 8-4.
In singles matches, Laura Harrison defeated UTPA's Silke Buksk, 6-1, 6-1. Kama Scott took the win for SFA in No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-3. Nowicki, Langston, and Whitney DeYoung all took wins for the Ladyjacks as Gaby Gadeva fell to UTPA's Nikki Garcia in a close No. 5 singles match, 6-3, 2-6, and 10-8.
