Ladyjacks Host Pumpkin Painting Party at Boys & Girls Club

NACOGDOCHES - The defending Southland Conference Champion Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack Basketball team took a break from their work on the court recently to spend some time with their younger fans. The Ladyjacks spent an afternoon at the Boys and Girls Club hosting an annual pumpkin painting party. More than 80 Nacogdoches youth had the opportunity to paint pumpkins, win prizes and spend time getting to know their favorite Ladyjack players.
The Ladyjacks kickoff the 2006-07 season with an exhibition game against Texas A&M-Commerce Wednesday evening. The game against Commerce is slated to tip off at 7 p.m. from the William R. Johnson Coliseum.
