THE CARDINALS: Lamar enters Saturday's game with a 12-7 overall record and a 5-1 mark in Southland Conference play. The Cardinals are currently tied with Northwestern State atop the SLC standings. Lamar brings the momentum of a five-game winning streak to its game against the Lumberjacks.

Including a nine-year stint as head coach at Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Kaspar is 304-124 (.710) over his 14-year coaching career. Kaspar has guided the Lumberjacks to an 85-72 (.541) mark during his tenure. Lamar head coach Billy Tubbs is in his 31st year of coaching and his third in a second stint with the Cardinals. He is 636-333 (.656) all-time.
