
Ladyjack Volleyball Receives Honorable Mention

NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack volleyball team was given an honorable mention for their digging performance on the court during a record season, announced the College Volleyball Update Wednesday afternoon.
The Ladyjacks collected 2,024 total digs for an average of 18.23 per game. Two-time Southland Conference Libero of the Year, Stephanie Figgers led the way for SFA recording 621 digs on the season, tops in SFA history.
The College of Charleston was voted the top digging team in the nation and SFA was one of the top five together with Yale, Duke and Eastern Illinois.
The Ladyjacks took over the SLC in the regular season posting a 19-0 SLC record while going 28-3 overall in 2005.
