Hurricane Katrina Forces Schedule Change

NACOGDOCHES - The aftermath of Hurricane Katrina has forced the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack volleyball team to change the venue of their Southland Conference opener, announced by school officials Tuesday morning.
The Ladyjacks were scheduled to travel to Hammond, La. to face Southeastern on Friday, Sept. 16 before heading to Thibodaux, La. to take on Nicholls Saturday, Sept. 17. The matches have now been rescheduled to be played in Nacogdoches at the William R. Johnson Coliseum.
SFA will take on the Lady Lions on Friday, Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. and then face the Colonels on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 2 p.m.
The Ladyjacks home opener was originally scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 20 against Texas-San Antonio.
