`Jacks Add Linebacker

NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack football team added Kenneth Boley to its roster Monday afternoon. Boley becomes the 10th NCAA Division I transfer to join the `Jacks roster this season.
Boley spent the past two seasons as a linebacker at Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. Boley played in three games for the Golden Eagles in 2004.
Boley is originally from Elkmont, Ala., where he played football for the coach Tommy Hunter at Elkmont High School.
Notes: •The Lumberjacks take the field at 7:30 Tuesday evening for their fifth practice of fall camp. The Lumberjack practices are free and open to the public. Wednesday evening's practice will be the team's first practice in full pads.
•Senior defensive back Roderick Palmer has quit the team. Palmer played in 22 games last season and recorded 22 tackles.
