
A&M Completes Sweep With 11-0 Win

College Station, Texas -- Texas A&M (7-0) completed its sweep of the SFA Ladyjack softball team (3-5) Wednesday night with an 11-0 shutout victory in the second game of a non-conference doublheader. The Aggies, ranked 21st in the nation, scored 11 runs on 17 hits off SFA pitching while blanking the Ladyjacks on just one hit.
Carrie Woydziak picked up SFA's only hit in game two with a bunt single in the top of the fourth inning to avoid the no-hitter.
Nicole Carter (1-3) started and worked two innings allowing eight earned runs on 11 hits. She struck out one and walked a batter. Kaitlin Morrison came on in relief and worked two innings, giving up three runs on six hits while striking out one.
