
Keldrick Holman Named First-Team All-America

WESTMONT, Ill. - Junior defensive back Keldrick Holman and senior linebacker Ryan Luedecke were named Don Hansen's Football Gazette NCAA Division I-AA All-American's announced publication officials Monday afternoon. Holman was a first team selection, while Luedecke earned honorable mention honors.
Holman had an outstanding junior campaign for the `Jacks finishing second on the team and third in the Southland Conference with 82 tackles. He led the team with 40 unassisted tackles and six interceptions and was second on the squad with nine pass break-ups. Holman led the league and finished fourth in the nation averaging .55 interceptions per game. He also finished second in the conference in passes defended. Holman finished the year earning first-team all-conference honors and was a member of The Sports Network Division I-AA All-America second team.
Luedecke was a second-team All-Southland Conference selection in 2005. After spending his first three seasons in the `Jacks' secondary, Luedecke moved to linebacker as a senior and recorded his best season at SFA. Luedecke led the team and the Southland Conference with 113 total tackles and was among the league leaders with 10.5 tackles for a loss. He also finished the season with 2.5 sacks, three pass break-ups, one fumble forced and an interception, which he returned 32 yards for the touchdown.
Both athletes also received first-team All-Southwest Region honors by Don Hansen's Football Gazette.
