
Four Ladyjacks Receive Academic Honors

PLANO, Texas - Sophomore Traci Rohde earned first-team recognition on the Hibernia Bank/Southland Conference Academic Volleyball All-Conference team with teammates Stephanie Figgers, Laura Cramer, and Lauren Stevens taking second-team honors, announced league officials Wednesday afternoon. It is the first time Rohde, Cramer and Figgers are given the honor and the third time for Stevens.
Rohde, a native of Norman, Okla., is a speech pathology major who wrote her way into the Ladyjack record book after putting up 132 total blocks and averaging 1.19 blocks per game, both third all-time. Rohde earned third-team all-conference honors.
Abilene, Texas native, Cramer, led the league in kills per game with 4.12 and earned the 2005 SLC Player of the Year award. Cramer's kill average ranks 10th in the SFA record books.
Figgers is a junior and was named the SLC's Libero of the Year for the second straight year after leading the league with 5.59 digs per game, the best season average for a Ladyjack. Her 621 total digs for the season is also tops in SFA history.
A Schertz, Texas native, Stevens, owns a 4.0 GPA as a senior finance major. Helping lead the Ladyjacks to their second straight title, Stevens knocked down double-digit kills nine times and recorded a hitting percentage of .500 three times.
The Ladyjacks took over the SLC in the regular season posting a perfect 19-0 SLC record while going 28-3 overall in 2005 and winning their second straight SLC title.
