NACOGDOCHES - Sitting atop the Southland Conference, the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack volleyball team remained in the 10th spot in the RichKern.com/AVCA Division I Regional Rankings, announced Bill Kauffman of the AVCA on Tuesday morning.
Despite taking two wins over the weekend from Northwestern State and Louisiana-Monroe, the Ladyjacks did not move up in the rankings.
However, the Ladyjacks do have a win over one of the teams ranked above them. At the start of the season, SFA defeated Wichita State, 3-2. This week, the Lady Shockers jumped from 11th to 9th in this week's poll.
SFA is currently 17-2 overall, with a 9-0 Southland Conference record.
The Ladyjacks look to add on to their current 10-match winning streak on Tuesday when they head to Huntsville to battle the Sam Houston State Bearkats. The match is slated for a 7 p.m. start at the Bernard G. Johnson Coliseum.
