
Davis Named SLC Defensive Player Of The Week

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- Stephen F. Austin senior linebacker Jeremy Davis was named the SLC Defensive Player of the Week following a 10-tackle performance in SFA's 24-21 win over previously seventh ranked Northern Iowa this past Saturday.
Davis picked up 10 tackles, including three solo stops and one tackle for a loss (-1). He currently leads the Southland Conference in tackles per game with a 10.3 tackles per game average. The 6-2 240 pound senior leads the team with 32 tackles and also leads the team with five tackles for losses.
The 'Jacks return to action this Saturday against Southern Utah in Homer Bryce Stadium. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
