Soccer Games Vs. Winthrop, Akron Cancelled

NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack soccer team's trip to South Carolina to face Winthrop and Akron has been cancelled due to the threat of Hurricane Francis hitting the South Carolina coast, announced SFA head coach Nicole Nelson Tuesday afternoon. The Ladyjacks were scheduled to face Akron Friday afternoon and tournament-host Winthrop Sunday morning. The Ladyjacks are currently 1-1 on the season after falling to Oral Roberts, 5-0, Sunday afternoon. The Ladyjacks will be back in action Wednesday Sept. 8, when they travel to Baton Rouge, La., to face Louisiana State. -SFA-
