NACOGDOCHES, Texas-- The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack softball team (22-26, 10-14) salvaged the final game of a three game Southland Conference series with the University of Texas Arlington (21-22-1, 13-10) Sunday afternoon after rallying from a 3-1 deficit to win, 4-3.
SFA scored two runs in the fifth inning to tie the game and another run in the bottom of the sixth to pick up the win.

Woydziak drove in the 'Jacks first run in the third inning driving in Crystal Dahlquist, who had singled to open the inning. She came through again in the fifth inning with a looping single over the head of the shortstop with two outs to drive in a pair of runs and tie the score, 3-3.
SFA scored the winning run in the sixth inning after a leadoff single by Ragen Rutherford. She scored on a double off the bat of Crista Hargrove to give the 'Jacks the 4-3 win. Nicole Carter (6-8) picked up the win in relief of starter Crissy Autry. Autry left the game after four innings, trailing 3-1, but Carter worked three scoreless innings of relief to pick up the win.
