'Jacks Win game Two, 12-2

HOUSTON, Texas -- The Ladyjack softball team completed a doubleheader sweep of Texas Southern Thursday night with a 12-2 win in the nightcap of a non-conference doubleheader. The win moved SFA to 21-24 on the year.
Traci Moore pitched six innings in picking up the win as she went the distance and allowed two runs on four hits. She walked three and struck out six.
SFA pounded out 13 hits in the nightcap and took advantage of five Texas Southern errors to win, 12-2. Tara Hersey and Crystal Dahlquist each homered for SFA and Lee Lara went 3-3 to drive in a pair of runs and score another.
The 'Jacks led 6-0 after two innings and put a six run top of the sixth to close out the Tigers.
