Track & Field Heads to Sam Houston State

NACOGDOCHES - Fresh off their Southland Conference runner-up finishes during the indoor season, the Stephen F. Austin men's and women's track and field team returns to action this weekend to kick off the outdoor season at the York Relays. The meet will take place Friday in Huntsville, at the Bowers Stadium Track and the Meredith and Miriam York Field Events Center. The meet will begin at noon with the women's pole vault. The track events get under way at 4 p.m., with the women's 4X100-meter relay.
A Closer Look The Ladyjacks return five Southland Conference individual champions and 12 All-SLC athletes from their 2003 Southland Conference Championships team. The Lumberjacks also have a wealth of talent returning from the 2003 squad, including one SLC individual athlete and five All-Southland Conference athletes.
Up Next ... The SFA track and field team will be back in action Thursday Mar. 18th at the Texas A&M Multis/Relays. The meet is a two-day event that will be held in College Station, Texas.
